Programme for 2009

2.00pm - Town Crier officially opens the fete

  - Climbing Wall

  - Ballet Display

  - Live Music starts

  - Tug o War

  - Pet Show - 2.30 - 3.30pm

  - May Pole dancing

  - Morris Men dancing

  - Punch and Judy Show

  - Wild surfer game that tunrs into a Bucking Bronco !

  - Canival famous Food Stall is open all day

  - Beer Tent is open for a fantastic rich selection of all sorts of beers and ciders

  - Pimms - mmm and strawberrys !

4.50pm - All volunteers for marshals to meet at the committee caravan

5.00pm - All Procession participants to assemble at Hale School Field

6.00pm - Procession starts - the crowds should cheer and throw money in the buckets!

7.00pm - Marching Bands on the Green

10.00pm - Firework Finale


CARNIVAL PROCESSION DETAILS - new and updated !!!!

Route:Hale School Field/Upper Hale Road to Hale Recreation Ground

Judging will commence at 5.15pm and the procession will move off at 6.00pm

Entries will be divided into the classes listed below:-












Note:

All entrants should report to the reception on Hale School Field at 5.00pm.

Street collection - to comply with the terms of the street collection licence, all monies

collected must be handed to the Hale Carnival Committee.

Insurance - to comply with insurance requirements, please provide a copy of current valid motor insurance for all vehicles entered in the procession.

Data protection - by entering into the procession agreement is being given for photographs to be taken and used in publicity/newspaper articles.

Groups or individuals Class B Children SchoolsJunior & Senior Schools 7 to 16 years of age. Groups or individuals Class C Mainly children Clubs/Organisations/Churches etc.Up to 16 years of age. Groups or individuals Class D Adults Groups or individuals Class E Veteran/vintage/classic vehicles NOTE: Any entrants that include a vehicle used as a float must provide proof that the insurers have been advised. Trophies and certificates awarded to each class plus Best Entry - Children Best Entry - Adults Most Original Entry
